One of the saddest aspects of the human condition is how the fear of not having enough leads to isolation and a stiff neck. The truth, as Christ shows us in the Feeding of the Five Thousand, is that when we give ourselves to Him in obedience and trust, He will give us the peace that we otherwise can never achieve on our own. We are created to participate in Christ, to be fed by Him, and to take Him into the world to reach a broken and scared humanity.
